Langwathby Station

Langwathby Railway Station serves the village of Langwathby in Cumbria.  

Built and opened in 1876 by the Midland Railway it too closed in 1970 but was reopened in 1986 as part of the fight to keep the Settle and Carlisle Railway open.  

The down platform building has been converted into a tea rooms and antiques shop.  

There are six trains each day in each direction operated by Northern Rail.
